Sohail Nejat

Sohail Nejat, P.Eng., MBA has a diverse work experience in the engineering field. Sohail has spent a significant amount of time at Hydro One, where they held various roles including Director of Project Delivery, Manager of Major Projects, and Senior Protection and Control Engineer. Sohail has also worked as a Co-op Student at Hydro One Engineering, where they assisted senior engineers and developed standards for fire detection and suppression systems. Prior to that, they were a Student Research Assistant at McMaster University and a Teaching Assistant, tutoring first-year engineering students in C programming and software design. In addition, they served as a Judge for the Ontario Engineering competition in 2011.

Sohail Nejat, P.Eng., MBA has an extensive education history. Sohail obtained a B.Eng & Mgmt degree in Electrical Engineering and Management from McMaster University in 2005. In 2009, they pursued further studies at the University of Waterloo and completed an M.Eng degree in Electrical Power Systems. In 2022, they enrolled in the Executive MBA program at the University of Toronto - Rotman School of Management, focusing on Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services. Additionally, they attended the Spanish Center in 2009 to enhance their language skills.
