Pranav Pattabi, P.Eng, currently serves as the Supervisor of Maintenance and Reliability at Hydro Ottawa since January 2023. Previously, Pranav held the position of Senior Electrical Engineer at METSCO Energy Solutions from September 2017 to December 2022, leading projects in field engineering, asset management, and engineering design. Pranav's key initiatives included developing primary underground cable testing programs, optimizing substation asset inspections, and creating a digitization roadmap for substation assets. As an Associate Electrical EIT, Pranav contributed to advanced field testing of power equipment. Pranav's academic background includes a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Anna University Chennai, where Pranav was on the Dean's List, and a Master of Engineering in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Toronto. Additional experience includes research at GE Power as an intern and developing microgrid systems at the University of Toronto's Bell University Laboratory.
