Ronnie Potvin

Ronnie Potvin, P.Eng, currently serves as Grid Technology Manager at Hydro Ottawa, a position held since April 2021, following a role as Supervisor for Smart Grid Technologies. Prior to this, Ronnie spent almost seven years at Glatfelter as AMBU Global Manufacturing Systems Architect, focusing on the design and support of Manufacturing Execution and Quality Systems, along with IT Manager responsibilities. Ronnie's earlier experience includes working at ArcelorMittal as IT Infrastructure Service Manager and Automation Engineer, where responsibilities spanned infrastructure management and software development. Ronnie began professional career as a Field Engineer at OSIsoft, specializing in systems deployment and training. Academic credentials include a Bac in Electrical Engineering from Université Laval and a DEC in Chemical Analysis from Cegep de Jonquiere.
