Salary: Up to £40,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday

About the role:

As the Business Support Manager at Hydro-X, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the Business Support team. You will play a key role in providing leadership and guidance to ensure the smooth operation of our day-to-day business activities. Your strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask will contribute to the ongoing success of our company.

You will work closely with various departments, including Finance, Sales, and Operations, to streamline processes and improve efficiency. You will also be responsible for reviewing and implementing policies and procedures to ensure compliance and optimise productivity.

Accountabilities and Responsibilities

  • Oversee the workflow of quoted and PPM works through the CRM database.
  • Ensure orders are managed through to invoicing completion.
  • Review the CRM workflow to ensure work is planned and marked off in a timely manner.
  • Review due dates in CRM to ensure alignment with client expectations.
  • Review data within current systems and collaborate with other departments to improve data accuracy and review current working practices.
  • Manage the Administration and Labour Management team to ensure compliance with internal and external KPIs.
  • Conduct monthly one-to-one meetings with all Administration staff.
  • Review daily values weekly with Labour Managers to ensure targets are met.
  • Address customer complaints if they fall within the responsibilities of the current team.
  • Manage client portals and contract setup.
  • Collaborate with the Supply Chain Officer to review current supplier prices.
  • Ensure processes are followed for raising purchase orders.
  • Monitor supplier performance and ensure compliance with procurement policies.
  • Ensure that reports are processed and dispatched within 24 hours.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a managerial role, preferably in a business support or administrative capacity
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Excellent organisational and time management abilities
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise effectively
  • Knowledge of business processes and best practices
  • Analytical skills to interpret data and generate meaningful reports
  • Familiarity with relevant software and tools, such as Microsoft Office suite
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Adaptability and flexibility to navigate through changes and challenges
