Job description

The Regional Sales Manager plays a crucial role in enhancing the performance of our Air Services division at Hydro-X. Positioned within our central management structure, you will report directly to the Managing Director or Sales Director, working collaboratively with other teams to ensure our initiatives thrive.

This role involves significant travel across the Southern Region and throughout the UK. You will attend essential Company meetings and events, which may occasionally require overnight stays away from home.

Your primary responsibilities will include leading a team of skilled Business Development Managers and Account Managers specialising in Air Services. You will leverage their talents to drive performance and exceed sales goals across the Region.

Requirements:

  • Full UK Driving license
  • Proven experience in sales management, preferably in the air hygiene sector or closely related industry
  • Experience Managing a team

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and motivate the Regional Air Sales Team to meet all internal and external commitments with professionalism and skill, including managing customer relationships and overseeing tasks related to Account Management and Business Development in the Air Hygiene sector.
  • Ensure comprehensive training and development for all Regional Air Sales Staff to enhance their effectiveness in the field.
  • Organise and manage the Regional Air Team to optimise profitability and accountability.
  • Manage the Regional Air Sales Team to achieve or surpass budget targets.
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators for the Regional Air Team.
  • Conduct productive monthly one-on-one meetings with direct reports to review performance and plans, with documentation provided to the Business Support Manager.
  • Attend client meetings and helping quote, both with the team and solo

Accountabilities:

  • Ensure the effective operation of the Regional Air Sales Team.
  • Achieve the Key Performance Indicators set for the Air Services Region.
  • Drive superior financial performance within the Region, with a focus on increasing target turnover, contract value, and profitability.
