Hydrocephalus Association
Marina Thompson is the current Director of Walks and Community Fundraising at Hydrocephalus Association. In the past, Marina has also served as a Special Events Manager at the same organization. Prior to their current role, Marina was the Program Director at Little Acorns Early Learning Center, where Marina managed a team of 20+ employees and was responsible for hiring, scheduling, evaluation process, and conflict resolution. At Interamerica Technologies, Marina worked as a Trainer, where Marina trained House and Senate interns on CRM for incoming and outgoing mail. Marina holds an Associate of Arts (A.A.) degree in Early Childhood Education and Teaching from Montgomery College.
Hydrocephalus Association
Founded in 1983 as a family support group, the Hydrocephalus Association has grown to become the largest patient advocacy group for hydrocephalus in the United States. The mission of the Hydrocephalus Association is to promote a cure for hydrocephalus and improve the lives of those affected by the condition.
