Brett Ryan currently holds the position of Hydrogen Technical Principal Consultant at Gemserv and also serves as the Head of Policy and Analysis at Hydrogen UK. Prior to their current roles, Brett gained extensive experience as a Principal Consultant and Senior Risk Consultant at ERM: Environmental Resources Management, specializing in risk and safety consulting for various sectors. Earlier in their career, Brett worked as a Senior Process Safety Engineer at Bechtel Corporation, a Process Safety Engineer at Bayer CropScience, and a Graduate Process Engineer at GlaxoSmithKline. Brett holds a BEng in Chemical Engineering and a BBiomedSc in Genomics from the University of Melbourne.
