Tony Oliveira

Electrical Engineer III at Hydroid

Tony Oliveira has worked for a variety of companies since 1988. Theirfirst role was Test Engineer at GTE Government Systems, followed by Hardware Engineer and Test Engineer at General Scanning. In 1998, they moved to 3Com as Senior Manufacturing Engineer, where they were responsible for supporting new product testing in manufacturing and deploying HASS fixtures and profiles. In 2000, they joined Lucent Technologies as Senior Test Engineer, responsible for implementing HALT and HASS methodologies for the testing of newly designed networking phone switching systems. From 2008 to 2013, they worked at iRobot as a Sr. Reliability Engineer, where they managed the day-to-day activities of up to four test technicians and software engineers and participated in investigating failures with different teams. Tony then moved to Keurig Green Mountain, Inc. in 2013 as Quality Design Engineer III, where they developed and implemented automated tooling/testing to improve production process yield and reduce process variation. In 2017, they joined PERSIMMON TECHNOLOGIES as SR. ELECTRICAL ENGINEER, responsible for designing and development of digital, analog, power, and embedded circuitry for vacuum robots. Tony is currently working at Hydroid, Inc. as Electrical Engineer III, researching designing and development of digital, analog and embedded circuitry.

Tony Oliveira graduated from the University of Rhode Island in 1982 with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering.
