Gargi Mahapatra has a diverse range of work experience in the field of Human Resources. GARGI is currently the People and Culture Lead at Hygraph. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior People Manager at the same company. Before joining Hygraph, Gargi worked at DCMN as part of their People & Organisation team. GARGI also took on the role of Maternity leave during their time at DCMN. Earlier in their career, Gargi served as an HR Business Partner at Sasken Communication Technologies Limited. GARGI started their professional journey as an HR Intern at MMTC Limited and later at Ortel Communications Ltd during their undergraduate studies. Gargi also gained experience as a Research Associate at Factorial Solutions. Additionally, they completed an HR Internship at L&T Infotech as part of their MBA program. In this role, they assisted with various recruitment activities and provided suggestions to improve talent acquisition processes.

Gargi Mahapatra completed their primary and senior secondary education at D.A.V. Public School in India from 1992 to 2006, with a focus on subjects such as Mathematics, Science, English, Sanskrit, Hindi, Odiya, and Bio-technology. GARGI then pursued a Bachelor's degree in Business Management (B.B.A) from Utkal University, which they completed between 2007 and 2010. Following this, they obtained a Master's in Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in Human Resources Management and Services from Christ University, Bangalore, from 2011 to 2013.

In addition to their academic qualifications, Gargi Mahapatra has also obtained several certifications. In 2015, they completed Transactional Analysis (TA 101) from ITAA - International Transactional Analysis Association. In 2016, they became a Certified Human Behavior Analyst with a focus on DISC Assessment from Innermetrix International. In 2017, they obtained a certification in Performance-Based Hiring from LinkedIn.
