Nancy Person

SVP, Finance & Accounting at Hyland

Nancy Person is the current SVP of Finance & Accounting at Hyland. Nancy has over 20 years of experience in the financial industry.

Nancy started their career at Citizens Bank in 1999 as the Senior Manager of Financial Reporting. In this role, they were responsible for the preparation of all external regulatory reports, including filings with the Securities and Exchange Commission, Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, Federal Reserve Board and Office of Thrift Supervision. In 2004, Charter One Bank was acquired by Citizens Bank and Nancy led the integration of Charter One’s accounting function into Citizens until the elimination of all Cleveland-based Charter One accounting positions in August 2005.

In 2007, Nancy left Citizens Bank to join KeyBank as the Manager of the Risk Review Group. In this role, they led and managed internal audits focused on the company’s finance and administrative services functions (e.g. Accounting, Financial Reporting, Human Resources, Marketing, Legal, Mergers & Acquisitions, Corporate Insurance, Corporate Compliance, etc.), collaborating with each of these groups on how to effectively manage operational and compliance risk. Nancy remained in this role until 2010 when they left to join Hyland.

At Hyland, Nancy has continued their work in finance and accounting. In their current role as SVP of Finance & Accounting, they are responsible for leading the finance and accounting teams as well as collaborating with other departments on financial planning and analysis.

Nancy Person holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Cleveland State University. Nancy is also certified by the State of Ohio as a Certified Public Accountant (Inactive).

Nancy Person reports to Chris Hayland, EVP, CFO.
