Client Service Executive, VP at Hylant

Lisa Hachmann has over 30 years of experience in various roles within the insurance industry. Lisa started their career at Continental Insurance Co as an International Property Manager, where they managed a department of 24 underwriters and was responsible for the profitability of the International Property Insurance Department. Lisa then moved on to work at MCI as a Risk Manager, where they established the Risk Manager position and implemented controls for property, casualty, and satellite insurance matters. Lisa also worked at Potomac Electric Power Company as an Assistant Risk Manager, where they analyzed and coordinated insurance renewals, created a program to track risk management metrics, and provided meaningful information to senior management.

Lisa later joined Zurich Insurance as a Territorial Manager, where they supervised underwriters and a support staff, coordinated underwriting and marketing efforts for a $15 million book of business, and negotiated with agency plants. Lisa then worked at Frank Crystal & Company as a Vice President and Senior Account Executive, where they brokered various types of insurance for commercial accounts and managed a $550,000 annual commission income book. Lisa cultivated positive relationships with clients from diverse industries such as commodities trading, art galleries, museums, and technology firms.

Lisa's next role was at Marsh & McLennan Cos. as a Senior Vice President, where they focused on global compliance monitoring and provided insight, technical expertise, and business leadership to avoid errors and omissions (E&O) risks. Lisa collaborated with the MMC Legal Department on E&O issues, analyzed broking practices, developed standards and strategies, and delivered nationwide training.

Lisa briefly worked at Tave Risk Management as the Director of Client Services, and is currently employed at Hylant Group as a Client Service Executive, VP. In this role, Lisa is responsible for all aspects of client service for global risk management and large middle market clients, and handles a $1.7 million book of business.

Lisa Hachmann pursued their education at The College of Insurance from 1978 to 1982. During this time, they completed a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree, specializing in Property Casualty Insurance.
