Douglas Green

Douglas is a partner at Hymans Robertson LLP and has over 30 years consulting experience in both the public and private sectors.

He advises a number of Local Government Pension Scheme Funds on most types of pension matters, including funding, bulk transfers, investment issues and accounting. Douglas also acts for a number of employers participating in the LGPS, thus seeing the Scheme from a different perspective. He is also closely involved in professionalism matters internally, and sits on the Actuarial Profession’s Quality Assurance Scheme sub-Committee.

He is the principal internal point of contact for issues relating to academy schools in English LGPS Funds, and for all expensing issues for LGPS Funds.
