James Smith

James is an actuary and consultant working with both trustees and corporates on a breadth of pensions and benefits matters. Having joined in February 2022 with just shy of a decade of experience within the pensions and insurance industries, James plays a key role in advising on a long-term strategy for his corporate clients and works predominantly as a projects actuary for trustees – supporting them on bespoke ad-hoc actuarial issues.

He has a keen interest in how diversity and inclusion matters feed into pensions and how they can work as an industry to use the power of pensions to drive forward positive societal change, whilst also supporting their own internal ambitions on these issues.
