Laura is a Partner and a Fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries with over 15 years of pensions experience. As a scheme actuary she is proficient in guiding clients on how to take an integrated approach to setting strategy, helping them identify long term funding objectives and allowing pension scheme risks to be quantified, monitored and managed in an effective and practical way. Laura has a wide range of pensions consulting experience including regularly overseeing the delivery of actuarial valuations and other complex projects, and providing advice on actuarial factors, benefit reviews and risk transfer solutions.
Laura is enthusiastic about providing clear, engaging client advice and leads the development of the consulting on scheme funding and IRM for trustees. She also heads up the actuarial consulting materials group, providing guidance, material and training to both clients and her colleagues on current and emerging issues.
