Malcolm is an actuary and Deputy Chair of the Association of Consulting Actuaries Public Sector Outsourcing Committee.

Malcolm has over 25 years’ experience advising a wide range of organisations in the private, public and not-for-profit sectors on the pension issues that arise in outsourcing and privatisation and in reorganisations within the public sector. Particular areas of expertise are (New) Fair Deal pension requirements, broad comparability, LGPS admission agreements, bulk transfers, and Beckmann-Martin redundancy benefits.

Frequently advising clients with limited pension involvement, Malcolm’s focus is on pragmatic advice, often provided against very short timescales.
