Kristina Newton

Kristina Newton is the Founder and Executive Director of Hope for Youth, Inc., a non-profit organization dedicated to providing STEM education and opportunities for underrepresented girls in technology. With experience as a Regional Partnership Coordinator at Girls Who Code, Kristina developed local recruitment strategies and forged partnerships to enhance program delivery in Georgia. As a Site Lead and Lead Teacher for the Girls Who Code Summer Immersion Program, Kristina guided high school women in pursuing careers in technology. Previous roles include STEM Pipeline Program Director at the Technology Association of Georgia Education Collaborative, Program Manager at Adventures in Missions, and consulting positions at Slalom Consulting and Accenture. Kristina holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from Prairie View A&M University and has participated in the Civic Innovation Fellowship Program.
