Christian Metelmann

Christian Metelmann has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Christian started their career at Finken Automation GmbH as a Diplomingenieur. Christian then worked at CMC Die Dienstleister as a Servicekraft before joining BASt as a Systemadministrator. Christian later joined SRC Security Research & Consulting GmbH, where they worked as a Systemadministrator and later as an IT-Projektleiter.

In 2017, Christian joined Smurfit Kappa Zülpich Papier as the Leiter ICT-Abteilung. Christian then moved to Smurfit Kappa Recycled Paper East in 2018, where they served as the Compliance Manager for the RPE Cluster.

Currently, Christian is employed at HYPE Innovation, where they have held multiple roles including Leiter IT, Leiter Hosting & IT Support, Leiter Hosting Operations & Support, and currently as the Product Owner for HYPE Hosting.

Christian Metelmann obtained a Diplom-Ingenieur degree in Technische Informatik - Informations- und Kommunikationssysteme from Fachhochschule Nordhausen, where they studied from 2001 to 2008. In addition to their degree, they have obtained several certifications, including Ausbilder (gemäß AEVO) from IHK-Industrie- u. Handelskammer Bonn/Rhein-Sieg in December 2020, Lautracher Führungs-Update from Management Centrum Schloss Lautrach in November 2018, and Compliance Officer (TÜV) from TÜV Rheinland in March 2019.
