Petro-Ellen Trometer

Petro-Ellen Trometer has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. From 2018 onwards, Trometer has been associated with HYPE Innovation, starting as a Project Leader responsible for the successful implementation of software projects in innovation and idea management. As a Solution Consultant, Trometer worked with colleagues to identify solutions for customer pain points and conduct software demonstrations for clients worldwide. Trometer then transitioned to Lead Solution Consultant and eventually became the Director of Solution Consulting, leading a team of professionals who provide tailored solutions to clients and contribute to the overall success of the organization.

Prior to joining HYPE Innovation, Trometer worked as a Tutor and Student Support at HSB Hochschule Bremen – City University of Applied Sciences for their International Summer School in 2018. In 2017, Trometer held two roles at Stellenbosch University, serving as an Administrative Officer and IT Support, as well as an Academic Mentor in Sociology, Geography, and Environmental Science.

Petro-Ellen Trometer completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Development and Environment from Stellenbosch University from 2015 to 2017. Petro-Ellen then pursued a MicroMasters Program in Design Thinking at Rochester Institute of Technology, which is scheduled from 2022 to 2023. In addition to their degrees, Petro-Ellen also obtained certifications in African Leadership Development and Global Citizenship from the Frederik Van Zyl Slabbert Institute for Student Leadership Development in November 2016 and November 2015, respectively.
