Fabian Windheim

Fabian Windheim has a diverse background in engineering, with experience in manufacturing and mechanical engineering. Their most recent position is as a Senior Manufacturing Engineer at Hyperfine, a role that started in March 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a Manufacturing Engineer at Transonic from July 2019 to March 2021, where they played a lead role in the release of a new product and was involved in root-cause analysis, development of SOPs, and verification and validation of manufacturing equipment and procedures. Before that, Fabian worked as a Mechanical Engineer at 3D Currax Solutions from May 2018 to June 2019, where they worked on 3D printers for mass production and developed test procedures for mechanical and reliability analysis. Fabian also has experience as a Mechanical Engineer in the medical devices and biomedical engineering field, where they designed medical device testing equipment and analyzed mechanical properties of cardiovascular grafts. Additionally, Fabian has research experience as a Research Assistant at Leibniz Universität Hannover, where they contributed to the design and development of a prototype electrospinning machine and conducted research in the field of electrospinning and tissue engineering.

Fabian Windheim completed their Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) in Crisis/Emergency/Disaster Management from Cologne University of Applied Sciences in the year 2013. Fabian then went on to pursue a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Mechanical Engineering from Leibniz Universität Hannover, which they completed in 2016.
