William Mileski

Project Manager and Senior Staff Engineer at Hyperfine

William Mileski began their work experience in 1989 as a Test Engineer at Rockwell International Corporation. William then worked at Sonalysts as an Electrical Engineer from 1992 to 2007, where they engaged in research and development for various projects.

In 2007, they worked at Ion Torrent Systems as an Electrical Engineer, leading the electronics development for the PGM instrument. William also worked as an Electrical Engineering Consultant, contributing to the pursuit of disruptive technology and developing a proprietary ASIC for DNA sequencing.

From 2010 to 2014, William worked at Life Technologies / Ion Torrent as a Senior Staff Engineer, managing the Electrical Engineering team and developing laboratory instruments for next-generation DNA sequencing.

In 2014, they joined Hyperfine as the first full-time hire, serving as the Project Manager and Senior Staff Engineer. William led the systems engineering efforts to pursue point-of-care MRI, overseeing the design and prototyping of electromagnet control and gradient amplifiers.
