Naleena Gururani

Naleena Gururani is the current Chief People Officer at Hyperoptic. Naleena has extensive experience in Human Resources, having previously served as the Global HR Director at Lebara from January 2016 to December 2019. There, they were responsible for strategic alignment of Lebara's commercial targets with its people strategy, as well as designing and implementing significant organisational change and transformation. Prior to that, they were Head of International HR & Recruitment at Lebara Ltd from October 2010 to September 2014, where they focused on providing global HR expertise to Lebara countries. This included new country launches and building regional functions whilst business partnering for the CEO and COO. Naleena successfully built foundations of HR and provided commercial HR processes to business practices. Naleena also managed regional employment legislations, work councils, global restructure and implementing pay review structure linked to performance in countries. In addition, they managed the global talent acquisition function which resulted in a 55% growth in headcount YoY.

Naleena Gururani has a MBA from Symbiosis Centre of Management and Human Resource Development. Naleena has an Economics Honors degree from Jesus and Mary College, Delhi, which is part of Delhi University. Naleena also has a certification in accredited mediation from ConsensioPartners.
