Sy Lormier

Sy Lormier has over 18 years of experience in the technology industry. From 2003 to 2009, they worked at BHA as Manager, Product Analyst and Global Support Operations. In this role, they planned and managed the global product deployment, training, testing, and after-sales support processes spanning across the US, Europe, and Japan. Sy also recruited, hired, trained, and managed a team of four North American technical support engineers, as well as identified, engaged, and managed a London-based business process outsourcing (BPO) partner. From 2009 to 2013, they worked at G2Q.de/GearHead-Consulting as a Business Analyst and Implementation Consultant. In this role, they provided consulting services for all phases of business development projects aligning goals with technology solutions to drive process improvements, competitive advantage, and bottom-line gains. Sy also successfully architected and implemented a complex sports platform for triathlon training for Mark Allen Coaching, and improved sales forecasts and schedules processes to reflected desired productivity targets to result in an increase in monthly sales targets by 10-20%. From 2013 to 2016, they worked at US Lines as a Cargo Flow Analyst. In this role, they optimized implementation strategies based on analysis of customer shipping processes and port workflow, produced budget, timeline, and scope analyses across multiple customers and deep-sea port projects, and maintained customers’ roll-list and fall-down stats, advising senior management as needed. From 2016 to 2020, they worked at MindQuilt Inc. as Manager, Product and Implementation. In this role, they independently monitored all functions pertaining to product, implementation, and customer success project management, ensured timely project delivery by overseeing every phase, ranging from processing RFPs to requirements gathering, and defined processes and tools suited to each new product implementation project. Since 2020, they have been working at Brightpearl as Manager, Implementation Services, and will be joining Hyperproof in 2022 as Senior Manager, Implementation Services.

Sy Lormier holds a Bachelor's degree in Technology Commercialization from Universite de Lorraine. Sy has also obtained three certifications: Lean Six Sigma White Belt Certification from Management & Strategy Institute in September 2020, Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) from Scrum Alliance in March 2020, and Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) from Scrum Alliance in March 2020.
