Beiqi (Nick) Guan

Beiqi (Nick) Guan is a software engineer who currently works at Hyperspace. Beiqi has previously worked at Amazon Web Services (AWS), Cisco Meraki, and Procore Technologies. Beiqi has also been a teaching assistant at Carnegie Mellon University.

Nick graduated from Carnegie Mellon University in 2018 with a degree in computer science. Beiqi has been working in the tech industry since 2017 and has experience with various programming languages and platforms.

At AWS, Nick worked on textract, a service that enables automatic code deployment and reduces the time wasted on manual validation and deployment. Beiqi also worked on migrating the document context elastic search cluster from the existing service pipeline to the cdk synthesized service pipeline.

At Cisco Meraki, Nick was a full stack engineer. Beiqi worked on various projects, including the development of a new dashboard interface and the integration of new features into the existing dashboard.

At Procore Technologies, Nick was a software engineer intern. Beiqi worked on various projects, including the development of a new feature for the Procore platform.

Nick is passionate about computer science and enjoys working on challenging projects.

Nick Guan attended Nantou High School before going to college. Beiqi earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Computer Science from the University of California, Los Angeles. After working for a few years, they decided to go back to school and earn a Master’s Degree in Entertainment Technology from Carnegie Mellon University.
