Jaspal Rai

Jaspal Rai is currently serving as a Founder's Associate at Hytro since April 2025. Prior to that, Jaspal held the position of Head of Scouting & Ventures at swiftscale from June 2022 to December 2024, where responsibilities included scouting start-ups for corporate partners such as Macquarie Capital and Coca-Cola, and assisting founders in fundraising efforts. Jaspal also worked as a Scouting Associate, producing recommendation reports and managing data-driven processes using tools like AirTable and Pipedrive. Previous experience includes serving as Lead Functional Analyst at Vodafone, where Jaspal created a tooling roadmap for data and analytics, and as Technical Business Analyst & Product Owner at Ticketmaster, focusing on process improvement and team management using Agile methodologies. Jaspal began a career as a Data Engineer at Moneysupermarket Group, utilizing Python for ETL job scheduling. Jaspal holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Mathematics and Statistics with Management from Brunel University of London.
