Dong Jae Lee

Dong Jae Lee has extensive experience in investment management, currently serving as Senior Manager for Investment Portfolio Management at Hyundai Marine & Fire Insurance since July 2011, overseeing a pension fund with assets under management of $4.5 billion. Responsibilities include conducting market research, establishing asset allocation strategies, executing trading activities, and ensuring compliance with regulatory frameworks. Previously, Dong Jae Lee held senior management roles in equity and alternative investment management, where responsibilities encompassed designing investment products and leading research in various market sectors. Prior to Hyundai, experience includes associate roles in institutional sales and marine underwriting at Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance, as well as military leadership as a 1st Lieutenant in the Republic of Korea Army. Dong Jae Lee holds an MBA in Finance and Entrepreneurship from Indiana University and bachelor's degrees in Business Administration and Commerce from Sogang University and Victoria University of Wellington, respectively.
