Jared de Jong

Jared De Jong currently serves as Senior Counsel for Compliance & Risk Management at Hyundai Motor America, where responsibilities include creating and implementing corporate compliance programs, advising on corporate governance, and managing insurance activities for Hyundai and Genesis brands. Prior to this role, Jared De Jong was a partner and co-chair of the Insurance Law Group at Payne & Fears LLP. Additional experience includes law clerk positions at the New Mexico Supreme Court and the U.S. District Court of Arizona, along with summer law clerk roles at the California Department of Justice and United States Attorneys' Offices. Jared De Jong holds a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from The University of New Mexico School of Law, a Master of Arts (M.A.) from the University of Chicago, and a Bachelor's degree in History from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
