Omar Rivera

Omar Rivera is the executive director, quality and service engineering for Hyundai Motor America. Rivera rejoined Hyundai in December 2017 as director of safety, quality and service engineering, prior to being promoted to his current position in November 2021.

Rivera is responsible for accelerating quality improvement across Hyundai’s lineup. His duties include model line and safety engineering, port and accessory quality, engineering analysis, and quality assurance of new technologies such as electric powertrains, advanced driver-assistance system and multimedia/connectivity, among other responsibilities.
