Cory Shumaker

Cory Shumaker, MBA has a diverse background in the clean energy industry, with a focus on hydrogen and fuel cell technologies. Cory'smost recent role was as the Head of Business Development & Hydrogen Solutions for Fleets at Hyzon Motors, where they successfully deployed commercial trials of hydrogen fuel cell trucks and established strategic relationships with partners. Prior to that, they served as the Director of Market Development at the California Hydrogen Business Council, where they coordinated projects and provided insight on hydrogen fuel cell vehicles. Cory also has experience as a Project Manager at Dash Clean Energy and as an Engineering Consultant at the Center for Transportation and the Environment. In addition, Cory has entrepreneurial experience as the CEO of Electric Beach Cruisers, LLC, where they developed electric bicycles. Earlier in their career, they worked at Vision Industries Corp as the Chief Electrical Engineer and an Electrical Engineer, contributing to the development and integration of fuel cell/electric vehicles.

Cory Shumaker, MBA completed their Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Entrepreneurship & International Business from Loyola Marymount University in 2016. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from California State University, Long Beach in 2009.
