David Eliott

David Eliott has extensive work experience in the automotive industry. David started their career at General Motors in 2011, where they served as the Director of Powertrain Product Engineering in Thailand until 2013. David then joined Holden in 2014, where they held various roles including Development System Manager, Engineering Group Manager, and Director of Powertrain Controls, Calibration & Testing. In 2020, David moved to Lumen Freedom, where they worked as a Senior Systems Architect & Functional Safety Manager, and later as an Engineering Manager. Most recently, they joined Hyzon Motors in 2023 as the Head of Engineering.

David Eliott's education history includes a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Swinburne University of Technology. David also holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Melbourne Business School. In addition, they have obtained additional certifications such as AFSP - Automotive Functional Safety Professional from SGS-TÜV Saar and Project Management Professional (PMP)® from the Project Management Institute. David is also a Design For Six Sigma (DFSS) Black Belt certified by General Motors.
