Josh Kogot, Ph.D. has a diverse work experience in the fields of biochemistry and chemistry. Josh is currently serving as the Chief Scientist at Infinity Labs since February 2022 and previously, they held the role of Mad Scientist and Senior Scientist at the Innovation Lab. Josh was an Adjunct Instructor in Chemistry at Florida State University Panama City from August 2016 to April 2021. Prior to that, Josh worked as a Research Biochemist and the Head of Biotechnology Research & Development at Naval Surface Warfare Center Panama City Division from January 2014 to January 2021. Josh was a Research Chemist at U.S. Army CCDC Army Research Laboratory from December 2010 to January 2014 and received awards for their exceptional research work on molecular recognition elements and synthetic biology. Josh also functioned as an ORAU Postdoctoral Fellow at U.S. Army CCDC Army Research Laboratory. Josh was an Adjunct Instructor at Howard Community College in 2013. Josh'swork experience also includes being a Graduate Research Assistant in Biochemistry/Materials at Florida State University from August 2003 to November 2008 and a Chemistry Instructor at Cushing Academy from August 2002 to July 2003.

Josh Kogot, Ph.D. received a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and Psychology from the University of Pittsburgh in 2002. Josh then pursued a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from Florida State University, which was completed in 2008. In 2019-2020, they studied Business Administration and Management with a focus in General Management through the Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA) program at the Quantic School of Business and Technology. Additionally, they obtained various certifications in Human Research as well as Engineering Level II and Science and Technology Manager (STM) Level II through the Defense Acquisition University.
