Dorien Vandormael

Dorien Vandormael serves as the Director of Innovation & Portfolio at i-mens, overseeing a team of innovation experts focused on research and trend analysis within the healthcare landscape. Concurrently, Dorien holds the position of Chief Innovation Manager at Z-plus, along with roles as Vice-Chairwoman and Member of the Board of Directors, contributing to strategic decision-making and organizational development. A Fellow in Belgium's 40 under 40 program, Dorien engages in leadership reflection and social impact initiatives. Previous experience includes serving as a Policy Advisor and Coordinator at Steunpunt Mantelzorg, where involvement spanned care innovation and digital transformation for informal caregivers. Additional roles have included program management in community services, teaching, and policy work across various organizations, complemented by a comprehensive educational background in social work, education, and management with a focus on health and care sectors.
