RIKO MARUYAMA

Riko Maruyama has worked in a variety of roles since 2014. From 2021 to present, Riko has served as a Business Development Specialist at I Peace, Inc., where they have led Implementing Customer Success from Project Start-up to completion of 15 customer's autologous iPSC production by partnering communication successfully with clinics, steak holders and customers. They have also headed 5 BtoBtoC projects by negotiating business schemes with potential channel partners, and developed BtoB strategic opportunities by conducting market research in target markets (Mainly Japan, APAC including Taiwan and China) countries. From 2018 to 2021, Riko was a Records Management Associate; Clinical Study TMF Management at PAREXEL International, where they managed 8 projects for Global Clinical Study(Japan, APAC include Taiwan) maintaining quality of the paper and Electronic Documents with efficiency and accuracy at each projects’ needs and deadlines. They also performed identification of any misfiling or quality issues based on GCP and SOP, maintained monthly average target of quality control evaluations completed per month, and consistently coordinated with the upper management and generated project related monthly and weekly QC schedule and assigned responsibilities to a team of 5 QC members. From 2014 to 2018, Riko was a Health professional; Public Health Nurse at Hirakata city goverment, where they directed medical system project with government departments, hospital management teams and professional specialists to provide better service for patients, consulted and contributed to more than 600 patients with incurable disease such as progressing neuromuscular disease, connective tissue disease and metabolic disturbance, and analyzed regional medical institution's service, distributed survey result to medical institutions and nursing care-related offices.

Riko Maruyama's education history includes a Bachelor degree in Medicines Health Science from Kobe University between 2009 and 2014, a Chinese Language program at Tunghai University between 2017 and 2018, and an MBA from National Taiwan University between 2021 and 2023. Additionally, Maruyama obtained certifications as a Health Care Worker from the Kousei Labour Ministry in March 2014, and as a Social Worker from the Kousei Labour Ministry in March 2014.
