Mercy Ojetunde

Mercy Ojetunde is an emerging professional in the field of immunology and microbial pathogenesis, currently pursuing a PhD at West Virginia University. Ojetunde has held various roles, including Associate Member at the American Association for Cancer Research and Silver Member at AAAS since 2023. As a Graduate Research Assistant at West Virginia University and an International Ambassador for the Gen'Omics Research Hub, contributions have focused on research and outreach efforts. Experience also includes managing social media and external relations for the i-Scholar Initiative, where Ojetunde has been active since 2021. Previous roles involved research assistance at the Nigerian Institute of Medical Research and teaching assistance at Anambra State Polytechnic. Ojetunde's academic background features a Master's degree in Biotechnology from the University of the West of Scotland and a Bachelor's degree in Microbiology from Osun State University.
