Matt Thompson

Matt Thompson is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience at I Squared Capital, serving in various roles including Principal, Vice President, Associate, and Senior Analyst since August 2015. Additionally, Matt is a Board Member at nLighten and has held the position of Board Observer at EXA Infrastructure and RUBIS TERMINAL since 2021 and 2020, respectively. Matt's earlier experience includes being a Board Observer for Inkia Energy and a Board Member for Whiptail Midstream. Prior to I Squared Capital, Matt worked in Investment Banking for Latin America at Citi between 2012 and 2015. Matt holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a double major in Finance and International Business from Georgetown University McDonough School of Business, complemented by a brief academic experience at Pontificia Universidad Católica Argentina in 2011 and education at Williston Northampton School from 2005 to 2009.
