Kwang-Yong Kim

Kwang-Yong Kim is a highly accomplished professional with extensive experience in academia and engineering. Currently serving as Director and Fellow at the Korean Academy of Science and Technology since January 2017, Kwang-Yong Kim also holds the title of Professor Emeritus and has previously served as Inha Harlim Professor and Dean of the College of Engineering at Inha University since March 1981. Additionally, Kwang-Yong Kim is a Fellow at the Korean National Academy of Engineering since January 2018, an Associate Fellow at the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics since September 2009, and a Fellow of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers since May 2008. Kwang-Yong Kim earned both a Master's and Doctorate degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology, and a Bachelor's degree in Nuclear Engineering from Seoul National University.
