Tonya Atkinson, CAMS, currently serves as a Compliance Officer at i3 Bank since September 2023. Previously, Tonya held multiple roles at Coastal Community Bank from February 2022 to September 2023, including KYC/EDD QC Analyst II and KYC/EDD Analyst II. Prior to that, Tonya worked at LinkedIn as a Trust & Safety - Jobs Abuse Analyst from September 2021 to March 2022. Tonya's experience also includes tenure at Bank of the West as a KYC Quality Assurance Analyst - Officer and as a BSA/AML Investigator, Assoc. II in the High Risk Customer Unit from January 2018 to August 2021. Earlier in the career, Tonya was with PayPal from December 2003 to December 2017 in various roles, including SAR Investigator-AML Compliance and Fraud Prevention/Buyer Risk Ops. Tonya Atkinson earned a Bachelor of Multidisciplinary Studies with a focus on Criminal Justice, Psychology, and Sociology from the University of Nebraska at Omaha.

i3 Bank began in February 1928 by father and son, Charles F. Roe and Harold E. Roe. In 1971, Harold's son, Jerry E. Roe, became president of the i3 Bank. Jerry's daughter, Leslie R. Andersen, succeeded her father as president in 1994.
