Remote First Working, with the requirement to attend quarterly events at our offices in either Farnborough, Manchester or our Birmingham hubs, so you could be based pretty much anywhere in the UK.
Opportunity
As a UK based, experienced Project Manager, you will be at the cutting edge of technology, working in partnership with one of our most prestigious clients, and taking responsibility for the successful deployment of i6 projects at airports and customer sites around the world. You will be responsible for ongoing customer engagement and change management support, applying your expertise to drive positive, actionable change across the i6 biosphere product architecture and hosting infrastructure.
Role
With advanced project management, stakeholder management and communication skills, you could be working on up to 5 projects at a time, coordinating the deployment of specialist software for management of fuel into major airlines across the globe.
Whilst you will be UK based and largely working remotely, there's likely to be a need to travel to customer sites around the world, so it's important for you to be able to travel, as well as having no travel or visa restrictions.

Person
The role requires high levels of interaction with various customer functions from front-line users to senior management. Providing an outstanding level of support and responsiveness is vital whilst projecting confidence and a can-do approach internally and externally.
To be successful in your application, you will need to have :-
Project Management qualifications, such as PRINCE2 or IPMA equivalent with an understanding of both Agile and Waterfall methodologies
Extensive background or knowledge of working within the aviation industry
A minimum of 7-10 years experience as a Project Manager
Experience of managing several £multi-million projects at one time over multiple jurisdictions
Planning and execution credentials including experience of managing large scale software related projects from proposal to go-live and support hand-over.
A good understanding of fuel testing, quality standards, including into plane refuelling and the end to end fuel management process
A strong attention to detail and driven to solve problems in a timely fashion
Knowledge of the Google Workspace productivity suite and instant messaging tools (Slack)
Use of Project Management tools such as Atlassian, Confluence and Jira
You will also need to :-
Oversee the installation of software/hardware onto customer sites and vehicles
Have experience of operating within various standards such as ISO:27001, SOC2 and ISO9001 and other industry standards.
Have exceptional communication and people skills with an ability to articulate complex concepts and challenges to both technical and non-technical audiences operating in a remote first environment and also when face to face.
Have a full driving license and an interest in IT, IT security, software, mobile and web-based applications
Remuneration package will be commensurate with experience and market rate.
