Christy Spahn

Christy Spahn has an extensive work history in sales and management roles. Christy currently holds the position of Vice President, Expo Sales and Operations at IAAPA, a role they began in August 2023. Prior to this, Christy worked as an Account Executive at Asana from June 2022 to August 2023. Christy also served as an Account Executive at Qualtrics from March 2021 to June 2022.

Before joining Asana and Qualtrics, Christy held various senior roles at Winsight, LLC, including Senior Vice President and Vice President of Sales for the Restaurant Show. Christy worked at Winsight from January 2019 to March 2021. Prior to that, Christy was a Senior Director of Sales at the National Restaurant Association from March 2017 to January 2019 and a Director of Sales from December 2014 to March 2017.

Christy's earlier experience includes working as the Director of Sales at Association Forum from September 2010 to December 2014 and as a Sales Manager at SmithBucklin from July 2006 to August 2010. Christy began their career as an Exhibit Sales Manager at AHIMA from January 2005 to July 2006. Christy's first management role was as the Director of Sales at Merchandise Mart Properties, Inc. from May 2001 to December 2005, where they led a team responsible for the Chicago Gift & Home Market.

Christy Spahn has a Bachelor of Science degree in Communications from the University of Colorado Boulder. In addition, they hold a Qualtrics Platform Essentials Certification obtained in May 2021 from Qualtrics.
