Giulio Mazzella

Giulio Mazzella has extensive experience in IT infrastructure and operations. Giulio currently holds the position of Director, Global IT Infrastructure and Operations at IAAPA since 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Regional Manager of IT Site Support at Chewy from 2021 to 2022.

From 2020 to 2021, Giulio worked as the Virtual Chief Information Officer and IT Project Manager at BoomTech, Inc. In this role, they were responsible for managing client satisfaction and efficiency, refining processes, monitoring business metrics, and overseeing the growth of the professional services team.

Before BoomTech, Giulio held various positions at Children's Home Society of Florida from 2007 to 2019. These roles included Director of IT - Operations, IT Technical Manager/Senior Manager, and IT Support Specialist. Their responsibilities included implementing and managing information systems, supporting networking systems, and unifying production systems. Giulio also worked as the Director of IT at Canopy Children's Solutions from 2016 to 2018, where they provided IT leadership and revitalized the organization's technology.

Giulio's career began as a Network Admin at Roma Tile Supply from 2004 to 2007. In this role, they redesigned and implemented the IT infrastructure, improved service delivery speed and security, and managed the organization's E-Commerce solution.

Giulio Mazzella completed their education in the field of Information Security and Management Information Systems. Giulio obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Information Security from Nova Southeastern University from 2008 to 2010. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Management Information Systems from Florida Atlantic University from 2002 to 2006.

In addition to their formal education, Giulio Mazzella has also obtained several certifications. Giulio obtained the "Cybersecurity Fundamentals for Engineers" certification from ConnectWise in July 2021. In May 2019, they obtained the "Information Technology Infrastructure Library - ITILv3" certification from PeopleCert.
