Oliver Etzel is an accomplished IT architect and security management expert with extensive experience in the defence sector and academia. Currently serving as a Senior IT Architect at IABG since June 2018, Oliver has a robust background in IT security auditing, compliance with BSI/ISO27K regulations, and GDPR. Prior to IABG, Oliver held several roles, including IT Service Delivery Manager at Sky, focusing on optimizing IT service processes, and IT Technology Consultant at SAP during post-merger integrations. Additional experience includes significant contributions to the Technische Universität München as an ICT Expert, where Oliver managed IT projects, service management, and system administration. With a Master's degree in Computer Science from the Technical University of Munich and a degree in Business Informatics from Universität Passau, Oliver Etzel combines strong technical expertise with strategic oversight in IT systems and security.
