Heather Chawke

Heather Chawke is a Systems Librarian at Dún Laoghaire Institute of Art, Design and Technology since January 2021, with previous experience as a Library Assistant. Prior roles include Grader for the UCD School of Information and Communication and Research Repository Cataloguer at University College Dublin, where responsibilities involved grading assignments and enhancing resource discoverability through standardized metadata cataloguing. Heather has also contributed as an ISSDA Project Assistant, Technical Support Blogger at Maynooth University, and held various management positions in localization and translation services at Lionbridge, Bowne Global Solutions, and Berlitz. Academically, Heather holds a Master’s Degree in Library and Information Science and a Professional Certificate in Digital Information Management, alongside other qualifications in business and history from University College Dublin and other institutions.
