Lisa McDonald is an accomplished professional in the fields of animation and event design, currently serving as an Associate Lecturer, Portfolio Course Facilitator, and Tutor Demonstrator in Animation at Dún Laoghaire Institute of Art, Design and Technology since September 2021. McDonald joined Creative Media Academy Ireland Limited in March 2024 as Program Director. Prior roles include Project Coordinator for Firstcut! Youth Film Festival and various positions such as Animation Coordinator, Visual Designer, and Workshop Leader. McDonald has also worked in visual effects as a Junior VFX artist with EGG Post Production and VFX, contributing to the IFTA award-winning team for "The Woman King." Additional experience includes roles as Animation Director and Production Designer. McDonald holds a Bachelor's degree in Animation from Dún Laoghaire Institute of Art, Design and Technology, obtained in June 2021.
