Tanvir Ahmed

Tanvir Ahmed, Ph.D., is a Lecturer in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Central Florida, with experience in teaching undergraduate courses spanning programming languages, algorithms, and IT fundamentals since January 2019. Previously, Tanvir served as a Research Fellow at the FDA, focusing on data science, natural language processing, and various data models in biomedical informatics from September 2017 to December 2018. As a Data Scientist at RadioAnalyzer from July 2016 to August 2017, responsibilities included analyzing radio listener data and developing ETL tools. Tanvir also held positions as a Research Assistant and PhD Fellow at Aalborg University, where extensive research was conducted alongside teaching duties. Additional experience includes consulting on database design with Infolink and academic roles at the American International University-Bangladesh. Tanvir holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Aalborg University and has advanced degrees from American International University-Bangladesh.
