Galya Dimitrova is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in results-based management, project management, and quality assurance. Currently serving as an Outcome Based Approach/RBM Advisor at the International Committee of the Red Cross since November 2022, Galya has also held significant roles at the International Atomic Energy Agency as a Senior Results Based Management Expert and Senior Project Management Specialist since April 2020. Prior to this, a tenure at UNIDO as a Senior Quality Monitoring Expert occurred from November 2017 to August 2020, along with a previous position at IAEA from 2010 to September 2017 focusing on various management and training roles. Galya's career began at the Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe from 2003 to 2010 in HR Learning and Development and included a role as Programme Director for Capacity Building at the Institute for Sustainable Communities under the USAID from 1996 to 2003. Galya Dimitrova's educational background includes degrees from The Johns Hopkins University and Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski, complemented by studies at the French Language School in Sofia.
