Tommy Diaz, CPA

Tommy Diaz, CPA has a comprehensive work experience in various finance and accounting roles. Tommy started their career as a Senior Audit Consultant at Spectra Energy in 2005. From there, they worked as a Division Controller at The Brock Group from 2010 to 2012. Tommy then moved on to Siemens Energy, where they served as a Financial Reporting Manager from 2012 to 2014. After that, Tommy joined The Newdell Company, Inc. as a Controller, responsible for managing accounting and financial reporting for multiple entities. In 2016, they joined Immatics Biotechnologies as a Controller, overseeing financial planning and analysis. Tommy then joined FSI Construction, Inc. as a Controller, where they handled various responsibilities including budgeting, financial reporting, and developing internal controls. Tommy was later promoted to Vice President of Finance with additional responsibilities in 2021. Currently, Tommy is serving as the Chief Financial Officer for Industrial Air Flow Dynamics Inc. in a private equity setting.

Tommy Diaz, CPA, earned their Bachelor's degree in Finance and Accounting from the University of Houston-Clear Lake, where they attended from 1999 to 2001. Tommy recently obtained the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification from the Texas State Board of Public Accountancy in April 2021. Tommy Diaz holds two CPA certifications from the same institution.
