Peter Chan has extensive experience in the field of natural perils modelling, pricing, and engineering, currently serving as Executive Manager at IAG since November 2006. In this role, Peter has held various positions, including Manager of Modelling, Governance and Major Events, Weather Services Manager, and Model Development Manager for Natural Perils and Reinsurance, specializing in catastrophe modelling, natural perils pricing model development, major catastrophe event modelling, and reinsurance modelling. Prior to joining IAG, Peter worked as a Meteorologist and Weather Graphics Manager at The Weather Company from 2001 to 2006. Peter obtained a Bachelor of Science in Atmospheric Sciences and Meteorology from Macquarie University, completing the degree in 2010. Additionally, Peter attended James Ruse Agricultural High School from 1995 to 1996.
