Shahid Amin

Shahid Amin is an experienced cybersecurity and risk management professional, currently serving as the Head of Cyber Strategy, Governance and Risk at International Airlines Group (IAG) since February 2021, following a role as Cyber Security Governance & Risk Manager. Prior to this, Shahid held the position of Security, Technology & Operations Risk, Compliance and Assurance Lead at Three, where responsibilities included designing and implementing a risk management framework and a third-party security assurance framework. With a strong background in information security risk management at TalkTalk, Shahid contributed to the development of security strategy and governance, as well as establishing assurance operating frameworks. Shahid's early career includes roles at Carphone Warehouse, OneTel, and British Gas, showcasing a comprehensive expertise in assurance, controls, and customer management. Educational qualifications include numerous certifications such as CISSP, CISA, and an MSc. in International Accounting and Control.
