Andrew Garrod has over 18 years of experience in the engineering field. Andrew started their career in 2003 as a Mechanical Engineer II at Harris Corp. Andrew then moved to VDC Display Systems in 2009, where they worked as a Mechanical Engineer III. In 2010, they joined Thermo Fisher Scientific as a Mechanical Engineer and later worked as a Mechanical Project Engineer. In 2016, they were hired as a Manufacturing Engineer at Metal Industries, Inc., where they were the Manager of ATU Electrical Order Configuration Program, Management Representative, and Lead Role in ISO-9001:2015 certification and initial acquirement effort. In 2019, they joined Novelis as a Mechanical Engineer, where they were part of a team aiding in product improvements, process optimization, and manufacturing support. Currently, they are a Senior Mechanical Engineer at IAM Robotics.
Andrew Garrod attended Carnegie Mellon University from 1999 to 2003, where they earned a Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering.
