Lanny Vogel

Lanny Vogel is an experienced diving instructor and business owner, currently serving as the owner and lead instructor at Underworld Tulum since May 2014, offering various diving instruction and guided tours. Lanny has been a Technical/Cave Diving Instructor with SDI TDI ERDI since February 2005 and holds multiple instructor qualifications from TDI, IANTD, BSAC, PADI, and RAID. Lanny is recognized for expertise in technical cave and training courses, alongside extensive experiences as a recreational and technical diving instructor. Lanny's previous military career includes key roles such as Head of Plans in Afghanistan and Senior Staff Officer for Operations Support in the Ministry of Defence. Lanny holds a Master of Arts in Defence Studies and International Relations from King's College London and a CertHE in Naval Studies from Britannia Royal Naval College.
