Jorge Pimenta is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in innovation, project management, and entrepreneurship. Currently serving as a Member of the Board of Directors at EBN - European Business & Innovation Centre Network and as Innovation Director at Instituto Pedro Nunes, Jorge leads initiatives that support startups leveraging space technologies for non-space markets. Additionally, Jorge is the Director of ESA Space Solutions Portugal, overseeing efforts to facilitate tech transfer from space to earth, and has held several expert roles in organizations focused on deep tech and healthcare innovation. With a background in economics and continuous involvement in academia as an invited assistant professor, Jorge is dedicated to mentoring and supporting early-stage entrepreneurs through various initiatives and programs.
